Not gonna work due to the obvious stated in the above. Also, I rather have my forums posts to be spam-free than deal with hundreds of images just to scroll down and read posts *cough tumblr*.
The only images that will work are in guides and listings.

Neither did I until a user told me about it, it must have been before my time or when I was an a hiatus or something.

I think it's too late for that now. Something like that has to be included right from the start, or not at all. MrBasil allowed users to post embedded pictures some time ago, and users immediately abused them to post adult material and the like on the forums. There are too many potential abusers here.
