Question about insta-kill moves
So I've noticed that due to our damage reduction, many moves that would normally one-hit KO everyone else only do ~75% of my HP like at chaos von bon and chaos vellum, etc etc. HOWEVER sometimes I've observed that if I don't have my buffs up, such as after respawning, insta-kill moves... actually kill me o_O
Anyone able to explain this disparity? I'm so confused ._.

keep the skill active by taking a hit or 2 until it does activate again

Oh so I have to keep forcing Divine Shield to proc or else I'll die? Okay then ; ;
