Yet another update dislike thread
After years of checking basil on and off, i've yet to see something trouble me like the responses to the thief/pirate updates.
1) "The updates aren't final so quit it."
That's not the point. The fact that they could throw this garbage out as a base idea makes one dread the future. It's like saying, your best friend is making out with your boyfriend BUT it's not final so cool your jets. Get it?
2) "Stop complaining, at least you got..."
Up yours! Seriously. Most people with this idea are either new age pirates/thieves or not even pirates/thieves. This is a game presented to players by a company. Last time I checked, things of this nature are service oriented. What does this mean? CUSTOMER IS BOSS. To sum up my reply to nexon k "NO. Get back to the freaking drawing board now! *waves newspaper wildly*"
Most players don't even remember or know what dragon dancing is. No one remembers issues affiliated with pirates when they first came out. Other classes can only fall victim to what plagues virtually every gaming forum. Attempted trolling. I say attempted because these scrub kids don't know how to troll anymore but that's for another day... POINT IS, few have stuck with their class from the get go to even appreciate what defines them.
Corsairs : Boat
Bucc : Super Transform
Shadower : Being the paladin of thieves while dishing out amazing damage. NOT DBS.
Night Lords : Stars (idk what to say here lol)
3) "The updates suck"
Agreed. I will restate the flaws since I haven't really seen threads that have:
Shadowers:
- Now, instead of DBs being referred to commonly as knock-offs, you are the knock-off.
- Savage blow's usefulness is now nil as it is replaced by a phantom blow knock-off. It doesn't even seem like the same speed as it was anyway.
- smoke bomb ruined... you know what... everything ruined (wtf rush)
DONE
Night Lord:
DONE
Buccaneer:
- Barrage replaced by garbage. Phantom blow in disguise?
- Transformations GONE.
- Demolition GONE.
- We now shoot beams? We power up. GARBAGE. DBZ. NO.
Corsair:
- No boat.
- Moves look LAME.
- WTF wings...
- Rapid Fire is main skill now? Bowman say what?

@aNobody11: Close range, 1v1, several hits (PB and Carnival Edge), mobility, rush move that's nearly like FA and TS, Shadow Partner and Mirror Image, Haste and Self-haste and other stuff that I cannot think of.
Edit: They both use daggers and both are thieves.
@Singaporean If the update sucks so much, obviously Nexon is going to do something about it if there are enough KMS players complaining about it.
Also, your metaphor/analogy thing about the boyfriend doesn't make sense. KMSt would be like your bestfriend saying "I'm going to go make out with your boyfriend." If she does do it, then it's final and it's in the real server. Get me?
Nexon is pretty stupid for removing Transformations, Battleship and making Shads look like DBs. Running out of ideas I guess. lol.

Oh man i totally forgot about dragon dancing. Its only been like 2 years. I dont think nexon looked at what the playstyle was like for buccs at all before they revamped. It was about invisibility, about skill. Now were tanks, and im not okay with being a tank. If i was I would have played a DK.

Did you not see what I wrote? Nexon is here to service it's players. That is why they run this game is it not? With that said, UPDATE SUCKS DO IT OVER AND GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME.

I agree very much, but it seems to me that everybody forgot about FT/IS- next to battleship those moves were my most cherished. How can I survive when my enemies aren't frozen and taking damage? LF-> Nexon to [b]update[/b] skills and remove useless ones (e.g. Hypnosis, for which I only use for the lulz, and Air Strike, which is great but not vital), but [b]NOT[/b] to [i]revamp[/i]

Why do you look at the downside to everything, this patch is far away who knows what will happen before then.
Ha! Prime example of complaining gets you nowhere. But yeah sucks for the people who love the original playstyle of these classes.
