Google Chrome was awesome in it's early days. Now it's so bloaty, slow, and crashy.

@lightxtc: hm... seems really strange, it should be more stable than before. it was crashing all the time before i upgraded, did you check to see if you are actually using the 64 bit version (click the menu button, and press About Google Chrome -> Version 37.0.2062.103 unknown-m (64-bit))
Installed it. It wouldn't run in Sandboxie without crashing. Even running 64 bit chrome without Sandboxie I'd get these weird error messages every now and then. Too lazy to uninstall and reinstall the 32 bit version so now my default web browser is Firefox (which I already had installed). Way to go, you've made me switch to Firefox.
do you have a 32 or 64 bit computer? it can depend, and is it PC, Linux or MAC?

sorry .. forgot about the link..

make sure it says you are in 64 bit, and after you download, go to Google Help or About, and you can see the updated version (should be 64 bit)

When you update it only updates the program you already have, which is probably the 32 bit version.
The 64 bit version of Chrome is a different program so you have to specifically download and install it.

If you use a 32bit processor stick with 32bit chrome. 32bit just means your computer can address 32 bytes of information at once

What about people who still use 32 bit processor or O/S ?
would I still keep all my stuff if I get 64 bit?
I'm wondering this too. Good news though, it'll be an even better compatibility to my Win 8.1 64bit.

Unless they changed some of the internal code (more than just making it 64bit) it is no more secure than 32bit is
