Havent played since 2011, should i come back?
Hi guys i started playing maplestory back in August of 2006 and played on and off until 2011. I had a lot of fun playing throughout the years, doing pqs, training, merching and making friends. I was just wondering how the game has changed over the years. I logged on recently and noticed that a lot of the FMs are empty and it seems like its really hard to merch these days. Back in the days Bera FM channel 1 would be full from 1-22. So, overall how has the game changed in terms community, population and "fun"?

Yea, I remember when they nerfed LHC. That was probably the most retarded move on Nexon's part. LHC was such a good training spot and very well-known, yet Nexon just had to take it away from us. Oh well.

I came back around two months ago after like 2 years off. The last two months have actually been pretty damn fun but i think i am about to stop again.

Do you know why the community is less? I recently just came back to the game as well and noticed that it's not as populated as before. I wonder what drove everyone away from the game

theres maplestory 2 being alpha tested in another country i think. maybe you'd be interested in that.
yes fun is very subjective but I just want to get peoples opinion on how they feel about the changes in the game in the past few years

How can people tell you if this game is fun or not? Fun is subjective and only you know what's fun to you and not fun. The community is a lot less but if you find a decent guild and get friends. Then it won't be that bad. If you have no friends or a good guild then you will struggle in the game. Since it gets boring after a bit just soloing everything.
Its still pretty fun if your having fun. Though it wont be fun if if your not having fun
