Apparently I logged on
I've recently quit maplestory for who knows how long. However, I was informed by a friend that my account had logged on. I find this funny because maplestory is not downloaded on my computer nor have I had the time for it in months! There is not one person on this earth that knows the password to my account because it's complete jiberish. So hearing this I automatically jump to the conclusion I have been hacked and what does everyone do when that happens? Change your password! Now what really sucks about my account is that it was made during beta. I was young at the time and my best friend had made the account for me using his email which I never thought would matter. So now I can't verify my email nor can I change anything! I'm currently re-installing and I have no idea what to do. (I sometimes play combat arms and vindictus using this same account so it's not just maplestory). Any suggestions?

I see people on basil haven't changed. People also seem to have forgotten who I am it seems. Regardless I guess there's nothing I can do except wait for a reply from my ticket or my friend.
this happen to me on my 143 WK, i quited a long time because no internet for a year and half and i forgot my e-mail and password to it and i have to start fresh but it sucks though, he was madly funded, what @mrc102592 said, yahoo deleted e-mails if their not use but they can come back but you got to know your e-mail and password for it. it's a long road getting it back but wish you luck getting your account back

Well there wasn't too much on the account since I've currently quit but it's the principles for me. One day I plan on coming back and I'd like to know my account is safe and secure. I understand your point of view and the items don't matter to me (I had maybe 7bil left on the account?) Especially when the market has apparently become utter crap. I've just logged a ticket and attempted to get in contact with the old friend that made the account (I'm not friends with him anymore for a reason) Haven't spoken to him in 4 years.
e/ to reply to above. Only reason I quit is to further my career in life. I do love this game very much and it looks funny with the field I'm currently in. The friend has never bothered to take the account or log on it in 7 years mainly because he has no interest in this.
