I had the same thing. this guy was like mesos first. I told him half first but he refused.

But my rule is "nx first or no deal" simple as that.

everyone is wrong...
Nx first ppl say when buying well u lose ur moeny
Mesos first= more scamming made easy
Everyone says its better to lose virtual than real but when you buy everyone always goes NX first. So I don't get it. Its better to lose virtual money than real but not virtual items than real money? You are all whacked! P.S. xTuki and VipNL and Kipudy scammed me.

still always mesos first. It's standard...
But it's never going to be a complete protection...

I need actual friending, knowing the person PRETTY WELL, before selling.
"buddied" a person's like...leaving them on your buddy list, talk from time to time; that's just a stranger you talk to often--sorta like the delivery guy. LOL.

You know the rules. You know the risks. Sucks for you but nothing can be done about it.
Buy your own nx or go home. Sorry kid, life just isn't fair.

What is wrong with you people. If you dont buy nx with $, you run the risk of getting scammed. There is not "legit" way to do a NX trade. Dont want to spend money on this game? Thats fine, I dont like to waste a lot of $ either, but dont whine when you lose mesos when you try to buy nx. And selling nx is simply idiotic. The people who do so are ignorant of more efficient means of aquiring mesos with pure $. Maybe with a few exceptions for people who received karma coin as a gift or something.

Its not complicated. Just avoid meso-nx transactions if you can. Ask for nx first if you're buying or you will get scammed eventually. Dont ever sell nx if you have the choice.

Looks like you're going to have to fork over your wallet and go to the store.
If I sell NX (which is a big if because I'm no longer a big NX spender), it's mesos first. Any complaints or dillydallying prior to the transaction and I'm no longer interested in doing business. Too bad not everyone plays fair in the black market.

It was never legit. You can get scammed both ways. It's just the fact that mesos are a virtual currency while NX is bought with real life $$.
Honestly, just sell NX in increments if you are worried about getting scammed. This way, if you do the losses are smaller.

Here's a thought--if you don't trust the person trying to sell you items illegally and in a disreputable manner, or if they're insistent that you take the lead in the trade, you could always... oh, I don't know, not go through with the trade?

There's something called "Find a trusted seller"
as in someone that you can trust and know well

being a buddy alone wont do. How can you trust him if he's just a buddy for 3 weeks (even someone that know me for 1 year would try to scam me)

NX first will be never a good way. Real money holds more value than virtual. In your case, it might apply, in some jerks case, they would do the same as what they do to your meso.

You took the risk, and therefore should've realized what are the consequences you will get.

if you go first, you need the other person to have legitimate vouchers (not just random people they paid in the fm to vouch for them).
If they won't let YOU go first no matter how many legitimate vouchers you have, it's not worth risking.
legitimate voucher: someone well known that buys and sells nx a lot or someone you have dealt with before.
it's a lot safer to trade with people you know, or people that your friends often trade with... don't settle for something unsafe just because you really want mesos/nx at that time either it's better to wait til you find someone you trust...
also, it doesn't matter which way you do it, they're both opportunities to get scammed

well, its always up to judgment, is this person reputable, is this person willing to let u pay first etc.
For me if they have voucers A+, but it may not be for u as it is for me, but what I do when they dont have any vouchers is base my intel on their level, fame, family they are in, medals they have, equips they have etc.
If all checks out, most likely they are trustworthy.

Then what I do is trade them, show them that i have the money to buy the nx, and then ask them to gift a small amount to me first, that way they know if I steal anything it wont be much, if they agree then everything is set, because i knwo I will give them the money for it.

Another way is to go half and half, which is what this guy did with me today in fm, I ended up giving him 20m, which is chumps change for me, and it seemed like he ran off, and I was like 20m is a small price to pay to expose a scammer (well of course this only works if ure well known by alot of influencial players in your world), but he gifted to me, so it went well.

Anyways back to the point, just base ure judegment on things that you will be able to see for yourself like the things that i listed above.
However, the same goes for the buyer. They would value Nx more than mesos so that argument means nothing since that gives both items equal preference. Since both parties equally desire the other item, you'd have to look at the item's face value. Nx is gained by paying real money. Mesos are gained by playing the game. You can argue that the hours it takes to get these mesos can translate to having a job and working for real money but at the end of the day, Nx is objectively worth more than mesos because it requires real-world currency.
Mesos actually have a value, it can be sold for real money. Nx doesn't worth more than mesos. Once you bought the nx, the price drops to $0.80:1k. (mesos worth 1:15~16)
That being said, 20k nx would be worth $16, or 1b mesos with the rate of 1:50. 1b mesos would also be worth $15-16.
I'd much rather lose a set of pixels instead of real money. You can make all of the NX-first trades you want.
If you are trying to sell nx, that means you prefer virtual money over the nx. Don't see why people say they would rather lose mesos then nx when they value mesos more, trying to sell nx.

@ItzATrapp So your logic doesn't fail because you definitely can't sell mesos right?

Btw, if you guys didn't notice, Nx IS virtual money. It can only be used in game, just like mesos.

Your logic fails. Mesos is virtual money, and NX is bought with real money. Mesos is always first no matter what anyone says because Real Money always > virtual money.

Don't buy from strangers, but mesos first is right because you would rather lose virtual money than real money NX.
