I've been 143 for about 3 months now and i can't stand the sight of crockies are there any good/decent alternatives to grind.

Then you must be in pretty crap parties.
Red leaf daily and thats an easy 20%-30% (not sure what it is at those levels) and only takes 7 mins.

^ And also when you actually have to spend a reasonable amount of time on each mob
Everyone has forgotten Temple of Time! You have to be pretty bored of LHC to go there, though.. back when you had to kill 999 mobs and not 333 per map.. T_T
