The only way to get the von leon equips now is to either buy it or solo von leon for the coins. (It's actually pretty easy after you get it to max its spawn.)

Von Leon gives coins I believe, empress mobs drops the armors and stuff, empress drops weapons.
They have a shop for Von Leon items, which you buy with the coins.
That or you buy them.
