Pulled leg muscle recovery?

So I recently over did it with running and pulled what I believe to be part of the groin or quadricep of my right leg. Basically, whenever I raise my knee, I feel slight pain in my hip. If anyone knows what I may be talking about, what's the best way to recover the muscle? I've been resting for almost a week and it's still hurting slightly. Thanks guys

apply heat to the area. the heat will make it for more white blood cells are sent there to help recovery. the heat will also loosen muscles up. then do some static streches (streches in were you hold the postition) for both quad,groin,hip and a bit of hamstring. do this once or twice a day for 2-3 days and you will notice a difference. also get your rest. get sleep and lay off the area for a bit while doing the things i have listed

Call Dende. If he says the injury is not serious enough for him to heal, slice yourself in pieces and call him again. Works every time.
