PSAT questionlittle late so as we all know the PSAT was last saturday morning... I'm alittle nervous though because for the math grid-ins, I decided to just bubble in my answer(which I did correctly) but didn't actually write the answer on the boxes above. Now, my guidance counseler wasn't sure if anything was wrong, yet I was told by a few ppl and looked online and said that the boxes are there just for your convenience(to help you accurately bubble in i guess). Is this true? pretty sure doing it the other way around would automatically not be counted, but what about bubbling only? is there a special grader or something for the grid-ins? hope its not a problem.. don't wanna get my PSAT back and see like a 60 for math b/c the 10 grid-ins we
anthropology final after the quake-thailand hey guys I have a social anthropology final in a few days and one of the stories thats gonna be on the final is the Thailand story in after the quake. if anyone has read that story, can you give me a clear explanation as to what ethnographically should be taken out of it? I kinda got the idea that, as socrates would say, the unexamined life is unworth living and that Satsuki starts to come to terms with herself. the earthquake helps her realize her frustrations and bitterness towards her husband and that she needs to essentially forgive her husband? yea idk i kinda got the feeling that her guide is encouraging her to forgive her husband. basically get rid of that stone in her body by not getting c

I think i did well on the essays and the MC as well but just wanna discuss the MC. what was the answer to the colonial group that supported taxes? also what was the result of the feminine mystique one(equal rights ammendment or NOW)? lastly, what was the reason for the decline of mccarthyism? was that because of the hollywood stuff that's what alot of ppl i know said and so did i... thanks!

ap chem lab help determining molar mass of dextrose i have to finish this lab determining the molar mass of dextrose from its boiling point elevation. for some reason, i keep getting 26 grams/mole but its real GMM is 180 g/mole. i used (change in Tb)= Kb x molality, isolated molality and got like 7.7ish. i then multiplied that by .05kg because that's the amount of water it was dissolved in, so that gave you moles of solute(dextrose). then i took 10 grams which was what we started with for dextrose. divided that by the moles and got 26.... help please! is there an error?
did anyone take the algebra2/trigonometry regents? I took it today and thought I did quite well. I hope the +/- sign wasn't required b/c if it was, well i won't get a 100 but still I think I got an A+(95+). What seemed to get to most people was the question with sine75 exact value. It took me like 15min to figure it out but I believe I got the right answer. I got radical 2 plus radical 6, all over 4 as a denominator. I even checked and they both equaled the same long decimal. I'm also glad I went over my multiple choice too because the question with 7 oclock asked for the smaller angle and I originally put the longer angle. any questions you wanna discuss? :)
irritating life insurance issue, please respond Ok so a few days ago i got a call from a supposed life insurance agent named Bill. I never got this before so someone must've decided to put in a random number for those surveys requiring information thinking it was alright. well... im getting annoyed of it i got a 3rd call today. he just keeps asking me to call him back at xxx-xxxx...Uhmm will anything happen at all if i keep ignoring his calls or what... this is why im highly against people doing these surveys
so I just checked my report card online my school has this "parent portal" that allows u to check your current grades for each class then the report card at the end of the quarter. the grades were due a 2 fridays ago and on tuesday of the following week my italian teacher told us she finally posted the rest of the grades. of course, there are sometimes mistakes in grades and you can talk to your teacher about it. i had a mistake and fixed it with her the following day and actually increased my grade from a 94 to a 97 because i had a grade of 0 for an assignment when it was actually full credit. she told me to tell her the next day if it wasn't changed on the portal to a 97 and if it was, then nothing had to be done. so, i did what
sooo i got the ap world history exam thursday if anyone has taken it, what did you get on it and what kinds of essays did you get? for me, the multiple choice is so tedious. im barely managing with a 40 out of 70 on most practice tests i took, and i really hope the essays have to do with china, japan, and stuff. Also, I just took a practice MC test on an online Kaplan ap world history 2009 book then i realized the answer key to the practice test wasn't included... does any1 know if theres a place online with the answer key included... thanks

idk about honors college stonybrook and delaware Hey I'm applying to the honors colleges in stonybrook and delaware for freshman admission next year. however, im not sure if my standard scores will decrease my chances or not. My SAT combine in math and reading is only 1270 cause i suck at reading lol... but my writing is a nice 740 bringing my combine to a 2010. i know for stonybrook that it said it wants students with great writing abilities, which the writing section kinda measures i hear and i agree. for my ACT its a 29. which im more confident with. i have a great gpa, its probs a 94ish unweighted, and it's a 96.04 weighted. took challenging courses did well in em, and uhhh extracurriculars and volunteering and all is good. how are my c

I thought it was relatively challenging but i still believe there's a good chance i got a 5... discuss any questions if you want.. i had a few mc questions and stuff on the part twos that got me... what does thermodynamically favored mean on the last question of the MC... answer? the part 2 A hydrocarbon one was screwed up... what was the total number of moles of electrons transferred with the S2O4 to S406 reaction? what about the voltage question on 2B... what was that unknown element because i found out that Pb was oxidized was it not? i got .60V for the eOx but nothing matched... discuss!
