How is your milk stored I was REALLY surprised.
Alright so I just saw this video http://www.wimp.com/canadiansmilk/ (It's a video of some Canadian woman showing how their milk is stored)
I was chocked.. I mean, out of bags? Really? While watching through the whole video all I could think of was "wtf, wtf, wtf, wtf, wtf.... WTF?".
It looks so ... strange.
In Sweden we use these packages.
What do you use?
Show me pictures.
edit: Title should be "How is your milk stored? I was REALLY surprised". Somehow the question mark didn't show up.

@Amandabuns: Ah haha I couldn't read that because im not wearing my glasses xD. Thanks.
This may be interesting to you. In our school cafeteria (Near San Diego, California) in elementary school they used to give us mini milk bags. You drink it by shoving a straw into it like this:

I remember these days in elementary school lol. If you ever poked the straw too hard, you would be drinking milk from the table.

Im still in wtf-mode, this looks really odd. Never seen anything like this before! The straw thing was completely new for me!
I drop the bag into the holder thing. Then I cut the corner. Then I hold the other corner and the handle of the mild bag holder, then I pour milk in the cup.
I mean, how hard is that?
When I see milk in cartons I always thought of it as recreational or artificial or something, and milk in bags are pure milk used for whatever purposes.
Straight from the cow.
50% of my life spent on west coast, milk is in cartons and jugs
50% of life on east coast with the bags
same stuff but I'd rather have a 2l jug of milk than cut my own bag, have to use the special milk container.
i use those too and bags
...I'm Canadian, and I use jugs. o3o
Same here. It's a better price.
I remember drinking milk out of a bag once in elementary school. Other than that, I don't think I've seen any around here other than ones in cartons and jugs. o-o (I live in Vancouver, BC )
In Brampton, Ontario when I was in elementary school, we used to have individual milk bags ordered for students at lunch time.
Instead of the mini milk cartons, we would get miniature milk bags that would come with a sharpened straw. Looked sort of like this.
You would have to squeeze on one side of the bag, while you jabbed the straw in the other. If you didn't put any/too much pressure on the bag, the milk would spray into your face.
Fun stuff.
We use gallons you know jugs? O.O
This is what we have over here in the uk http://medias.photodeck.com/5920c62a-4ca9-11df-83ae-1585bf7fe8db/milk028_xlarge.jpg Each lid is different so
Blue - Full Fat
Green - Semi
Red... no idea 0_0
You have to cut the bag and drain the milk into containers and stuff. Canadians are so silly.
I live in Canada and I buy my milk in cartons, jugs, or glass containers.
dis is how 2 store dat milk
what the hell... milk in bags.... i lived in america basically my whole life... and i thought everybody drank milk through cartons... drinking it out of a bag seems like the hardest way possible...
Cut a small opening in the bad, pour milk into glass.
It's not hard.
Well its normal to me. Here(Lithuania its in Europe btw) its very popular and it is everywere . Actually I dont like it tho i am always afraid that i will spill it(never happened before) and if someone is wondering it tastes same as from bottle or that paper box(idk how its called and to lazy to translate it )
lmao wtf o.o o.o
we just have packages and plastic bottles here
I store in my chests.
I would highly reccomend you stop drinking soy milk. Soy is one of the worst things you can consume as a male.
I'm not drinking enough of it to turn into a woman. It's all about moderation. xD
Same as in Sweden

In Finland
Did you know milk is cow semen?
Depends on which milk you are talking about.
That milk (picture) looks so good. Looks really expensive too though..
Regularly, the price is noticeably higher, but the building owner has some deal with the milk company on a delivery package. We get it at a price that's only about 25 cents more than buying plastic/paperboard at the grocery store, and that includes the delivery cost too. xD
It's not weird to me, but it's hard to manage considering I've been using plastic bottles/cardboard cartons all my life. Last time I used one was when a friend came over for a sleepover and she had the bag in a jug. I spilled a considerable amount and let her do the pouring for the rest of the weekend.
My girlfriend and I have pretty much switched to soy milk, but for cereal, we use milk from reusable glass bottles, like this example. xD
the milk in the bags look like pillows o.o
@Dayska: I recognise all of those. All from Safeway (refuse to call it Woolies).
In England we generally use:
These
Or this
I did just find out that a few retailers here have started using milk bags! ~mind blown~ Maybe I'll have to go try it out xD
Yay milk bag
It also looks like they've designed a special jug for milk bags called Jugit
In ontario, its normal to drink in bags
My mom always buys bagged milk (in Israel, it's ignorant to call it 'Canadian') for some reason.
We also have bagged chocolate milk.
@mishiroro:
Should get a special order to Sweden then
@mishiroro yea i've never heard of ketchup chips o.o
I don't get why people find it so weird.
I still use regular cartons :S
we even have ketchup chips ;D
This is just getting more weird for every second. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
I drank milk in bags in elementary school in the US.
I'm from B.C. and I have never seen milk in a bag, ever. Maybe they only do it on the East side? :x
we even have ketchup chips ;D
Jugs or cartons...where do you even find milk in a bag?
it used to be really big on the western part, but they pretty much stopped here. i think it's still more prevalent in the eastern part of canada
Yes, it is, to people who don't use it.
But milk comes from bags.
http://www.recipetips.com/images/glossary/m/milk_rice.jpg mnaaaaaaaaamamanannamsamnsamamnamanmaanaaaaaaAAaAaAaAa
Really? I use goat skin bags with cork stops.
I'm Canadian, and I buy milk in bags.
Milk bags = bulk buys
Milk cartons = moderate consumer buy
'Cause mah family luvs to drink milk. Yum.
what the hell... milk in bags.... i lived in america basically my whole life... and i thought everybody drank milk through cartons... drinking it out of a bag seems like the hardest way possible...

My milk comes in cardboard cartons (like you showed in your picture) or plastic jugs.
I've lived in Canada my entire life and not once have I seen milk in a bag...o.O
:S What do you use then?
I find it slightly weird.. But ive know for a long time they store there milk in bags.
After watching that video though, I will prob tomorrow not find it weird at all.
Milk in a bag isn't weird..
