Whos the basil mod nub that closes threads every second

Seriously mod dude, you're closing a thread every second that HAS to do with maple and ISN'T breaking rules. Let basil run it's course and when posters actually post off topic or go amok you can step into the banhammer shoes and start locking. In the mean while couldn't you refrain from exercising your pseudo god-complex cloak of anal uptightness disorder and misusing your power? Thank you~

A few things I'll address here:

1. mrbasil told us to lock any complaint threads that spiral into "zomg i got suspended for ____". If you've got any problems, PM us or send a ticket (yeah, I know...)
2. It's clear by the upvotes that several people agree with this. I encourage ANYONE that has any problem with what happened to them recently to PM me to see if I can explain anything in further detail. To be a bit more clear, it doesn't help you or anyone else to complain about it and not actively seek for an answer. Again, PM me if you've got any problems.
3. I've been kind of inactive lately, so I don't know which threads you're talking about. Mind telling me via PM?

I noticed one of those "mts is down" threads was closed before 1 post and was an answer I was looking for not found on the site at the time.

I don't mean to flame mod dude who's behind this, just stating my opinion on how things are being run atm.. the point of locking threads is to stop flaming? keep the population happy? Well as you can see, basilers on this thread, and many that aren't accounted for, aren't too happy with the lockings and bannings. Finding a middle ground is the most probable solution.
All I know is basil mods now a days are pretty strict.....

Watch me get banned now
I don't think it's that they've become more strict, it's that they've been exercising their power too long and now can't differentiate the good from the bad. Only what the think is bad, hence the locking of legit threads. I'm sure that Mr. B can trust the mods to their extent of integrity, but if anything there ARE suitable candidates for the job that better know how to control and please an online forums community.

Surprisingly since this thread has yet to be locked, i'm hoping the mods are taking the opinions on this thread into consideration. >.<
@Above, people who post nonsense gives justification for mods to lock threads.. we're civil there's no need to taunt the mods.

Didn't you know, all the top threads are hardly Maple related and are almost always created by trolls. Anything Maple related doesn't actually receive posts.

Least they can do is show their face or Mr. B can implement some sort of notification that shows WHO locked the thread. Maybe i'm suggesting corruption or perhaps the mods only have good intents, but their action isn't justified after all they were once basilers too.

I agree 100% with the thread-starter. I'll probably get suspended for my third time, but it's not like they can block my IP. I don't care if I can post or not. If they do go so far as to block my computer-specific IP, then I'll just use a different device.

We love your website, but not when your mods can't chill their titulars...>.<

I don't mind taking the suspension, lurking on basil is fine with me as long as the threads don't get closed off. -_-
