Yes, you can put in a request for a roommate change if you give reasons that talk about how they're affecting your education.
Just tell them your roommate sleeps too late, or is too loud, blah blah blah... They'll probably end up putting you in a single somewhere else.
And yeah, my roommate is super weird. He makes weird collages at night all the time.
Well I once made a collage but I didn't have a roommate.
I made it at school and got glue all over my hands. :C
