Do any of you play in a band?

As in, not a school band with trumpets and crap. If so, what position/Instrument do you play, genre, how are you liking it, what do you think of your band mates, is it something you'd want to continue further then you've already taken it?

Not in a band with musical instruments, but in a band for singing + dancing (yeah, like K-POP) <3

I used to play in a guitar ensemble for the best high school around in the country for guitar. We played classical, rock covers, Trans Siberian covers, and random things like Gerudo Valley arrangements.
Less formally, I dabbled in playing guitar for progressive bands and played bass in a punk/rock/classic rock/metal/everything band for a while for a little bit of cash. I'd continue it if I could, but there's nobody around that wants to play anything besides deathcore now. Dumb.

@Jazziquai: I have a guitar class in school, I decided I liked electric more then acoustic tbh, and brands and builds do matter a little, I like Ibanez for their thin necks also (KoRn plays Ibanez so it was kind of fate)

@dimo: That's cool dude
@Exorcizms: Ibanez guitars are amazing. I plan on getting a 7 string RGD soon, hopefully.
Do you guys have any stuff up? If its anything like this I'll love you forever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI0xsw3x7EY
We only formed about 2 months back, plan on having our first gig at our New Years party. The singers voice is similar to Amy Winehouse so we do quite a few of her covers while writing our own songs.
rhythm guitarist - i like it but I don't like how i'm on a tight schedule learning new songs which uses entirely on chords so I do some blue elements to it. I rather play a hard rock/metal/alternative songs alone in my room while staring a wall. The fact how you're with friends is great and I would consider it as a hobby rather than a job.
That's awesome dude, I'm a guitarist too, well, becoming one anyway. Do you have a preffered brand when it comes to guitars?
