It sucks. Especially when you think the moment of your 'dreams' have finally happened.
On a side note: Anyone else only wake up from nightmares when they die?
your side note happens to me all the time also, or when i fall off the scary rollercoaster... but usualy when i wake up after being stabbed, i actualy feal the pain and the warmth of my blood. it is sorta disusting
sometimes i have those nights were i dont have any dreams at all (nothing but a blank canvas) and it goes on for a while as a streak. then i have those nights where i get at least 3 nightmares in a row for some odd reason and it scares me. then those once in a while fantasy, non-existant impossible dreams that could never happen at all. o.o
When I was about nine, I told my bro that if one were to think about dreaming something before they slept, they have a better chance of remembering the dreams that go on whether or not they get what they asked for. So that lot got me thinking. That night, I told myself I'd dream of creating a planet. Next thing I know, I'm driving a bus into a two-story house. The crash "wakes" me up. So I feel like I'm awake at this point, however, my eyes are closed. I open my eyes, and I suddenly feel a rush of gravity. I'm falling in the sky at this point, about to crash onto the rooftop of our house. I crash through, slam onto the bed, and open my eyes. I wake up at this point for real and actually wrote it down before I lost it. Felt pretty cool.
I had a dream where I had to go to the dentist. The dentist and her assistant looked like the clown nurses from Adventure Time. They put me on a chair and I told them that I just needed my braces off, and they asked me why would I want them off. I told them just do it and they gave me laughing gas. Somehow I was able to see the gas, and it looked like a puffy pink cloud. All of a sudden I turned into Reimu, and I had weird hallucinations within my dream. Then when they were done and I came to, they showed me a cavity that I apparently had and, as Reimu, I felt my front teeth to see if they were off. I woke up and found that they weren't.
I've had these types of dreams once, but it didn't happen to me once, but twice. When I awoke inside my dream, things happened ranging from Harry Potter, to something similar to spirited away.
I had a dream last week that I was in my bed sleeping and this man tried molesting me and when i tried running out of my room and I opened the door, there was this terrifying lady screaming at me. Then I woke up again in my bed (still in a dream) and I went to the kitchen and I was telling two of my friends about my previous dream. I felt pretty badass when i actually woke up.
I've only had one and I literally had to leave the house and go take a walk as soon as I woke up. It was awful because it was a nightmare I really dislike them.

Like lucid dreaming? It's awesome.

Inception wasn't all that confusing when it actually occurs to me, it's hella confusing.
