From a fairly objective point of view...

1. We are the product of evolution through natural selection. Through this process, we have gained sentience - which separates us from the other organisms.
2. The Last Universal Common Ancestor, which most likely rose from the theory of abiogenesis or panspermia theory.
3. Read the above 2.
4. Whatever we want. From what we understand thus far, nobody is watching us. Our genes want us to survive and for the most part we try to do that. From a moral standpoint, we have evolved as social creatures; humans depend on other humans and organisms. This is why we have laws, rules, order, etc.
