Most people would figure this stuff out before getting engaged (or at least I thought)
No, I'm still not done raising myself
If you say yes to this poll, you most likely don't truly love the person you are with. If you don't love them, then you really shouldn't have kids with them or even get married (should be obvious, but apparently not these days).
My choice is obviously "No", because I care more about whether I love the person or not when it comes to being with them. Having kids is irrelevant, if you were to have kids with a person that you'd leave if they didn't want kids then it's likely that'd you'd just end up being another divorced family to add to the numbers. Besides, it's possible that they may change their mind in the future, not that you should be depending on that.
TS didn't specify it had to be "make" babies, so homosexual or not shouldn't matter.
I guess I forgot to specify that one, but I'm talking about reproducing, not adopting.
No, because I don't want kids.
I would dump my fiancee (I don't have one) if they said they don't want kid. What's the joy in not having kids?
more money!
Oh, but yeah on-topic. Because I don't describe to the idea that only one person will be the right fit for me, it depends how important having children is at that point in my life. Although, I must say. I hope before I propose to someone that we've had this talk. It kind of seems like something that's a prerequisite. You know, getting to know your significant other.
2 guys can't make babies.
Sure, they can adopt, but not the same.
They can, actually. It's not an uncommon practice to find a surrogate mother and to essentially use a process similar to in vitro fertilisation.
This allows both male parents to have a rather equal chance in fertilizing the egg and in fact, make a child.
Although I take offense to your statement that adoption is not comparable to birthing.
I want at least one kid so I'll have to think real hard about it.
i don't know how i feel about kids yet
but i'm defying your straight only rule, that's good enough for me
No.
Not like I want kids either.
no
I like kids, but don't want one
no. i'd find a way to have kids anyway.
I completely agree with this wise statement
Id just, poke a hole into the condom
That sounds like the perfect way to have your girlfriend to get an abortion for those delicious stem cells.
I would also expect her to drop you like you're hot.
OT: Kids don't matter much, so I wouldn't really be bothered if my significant other decided to change her mind and not want children.
Besides, animals are just as good.
