Pointers for New York tourist
Hey guys,
I'm going to be visiting New York in a few weeks time and was wondering if any of you had any pointers or things to look out for while I'm there. Give me some suggestions on cool places to visit, besides the obvious, and some relatively cheap clothing stores. I'll be doing some fair amount if shopping there because the shoes in Australia are ridiculously expensive compared to the states -.-
What is the most convenient way of travelling in and around New York say from broadway to Chinatown, and how long would it take on average excluding peak hour traffic?
I also might consider watching a NBA game while I'm there, so if anyone knows where I can purchase any tickets while I'm in New York or if anyone has any experiences to share that'd be great.
Thanks guys.

be sure to walk slow to take the sights in and hold the door open to be courteous to others.
All NYers hate tourists that wear "I heart NY" shirts.
And also you gotta visit Nintendo World
Ok thanks guys. Anything else?
Unfortunately I'm not visiting Brooklyn this time. ):
You should come and look at all the 99c stores in Brooklyn, they have a lot of little items that break before you even use them!
