About The Basil Balloon Code No I am not here to ask why
[b][i]Update[/i][/b] - Mr. Basil ran out of codes and is trying to get more. Although he's not sure if he can get anymore.
The codes a day ARE limited.
You don't get the code IMMEDIATELY after answering the clue.
If you haven't gotten yours yet, chances are, the Bot is still in the middle of sending them out to the ones who did them yesterday and didn't get it yet.
If you did Day1's clue and you still didn't get one the day after, just be PATIENT.
There are more people on Basil that's doing this event. Not just you.
Don't get mad because you didn't get the code yet. You will get your code if you be patient.
[b]In previous years we've limited the event to members who've been on the site for at least a few months. Things are a little different this year because of how special the giveaway is. We feel quite fortunate that Nexon has bestowed upon us these lovely little in-game balloons. We want as many people to get them as possible, so we've opened up the giveaway to relatively new members as well - [i]if you've been on the site for a week you're good to go![/i][/b]

[b]How you do the event.[/b]
At the bottom of the Basil page, there is a bar. There is a little phone that said BMOS Clues. You click on it and read the clues for each day.
Day 1: Vegetable chair:
Hint: Item
You go to the page and find a chair and if you think it's the right answer, click on it. If it's right, at the top of the page it will say you found that days clue. If it's wrong, nothing will show up and you will just have to keep searching. You don't send in any answers till the last day.
I know I am going to get some sarcastic comments like "OH REALLY? I DIDN'T KNOW!" Or "THEY COULD HAVE JUST CHECKED THE FRONT PAGE AND LOOK FOR HELP THERE" Some people apparently won't check or say that's not helpful at all or something. Whatever, I'm just going to leave this here and hopefully help some people.
Edit: I don't know how you people say I gave away the answer if Day1 is right there on the bar....
[b]How you will receive the code[/b]
When you are given the code, the top of the page will have a message that takes up quite a bit of the page. Your code will be in huge bolded letters. You will also receive a PM from the Bot giving you the code incase you forgot to copy or write it down.
Once you have the code, you log onto the character you want to receive the balloon on. Go into cash shop and next to where it says how much NX you have left, to the right of it should be a round button that says "Code" Click on that and paste your code into that box and voila! A Basil Billionaire Balloon(:

The balloons are 100% chance in getting them. But, they send out limited codes a day.

@chowei: You would know when you get a code and pm. The Code appears in huge bolded letters on the front page when you refresh if the bot sent it to you. And in case you didn't write/copy down the code, a bot sends you the code and you will be notified if you have unread mail. You can also check your PMs by hovering your mouse over "Basil ID" on the top and moving down a bit to "Mail"

@chowei If you got a code, it should be sent via PM. If you don't have a PM, you haven't gotten it yet.

Helping is fine, and really that's the reason the forums exist in the first place.
Giving the actual ANSWERS is against the rules.
@Colorblind If the code appeared in the yellow banner at the top of the page that answered the day's clue, you should also receive a Basil PM reminding you of the code in case you didn't write it down. It should also appear as a large banner on the Basil front page when you log in again, and give the code to you there also.

Go to the Cash Shop on the character you want to have the balloon, click the "Code" button below where it shows how much NX you have, type in the code.
You can also Copy and Paste the code from the PM you get reminding you what the code is, just be sure there are no blank spaces before or after the code when you paste it.

@Suckitms: If what @Skyenets: say is correct (It being possible to claim 2 balloons on one account) All you'd have to do is log onto your I/L and transfer the balloon to that character.

But yea, go this guide guys. Mine is hard to understand cause I don't make guides. Just made this thingy today because of all the threads on the front page.

but can you wear 2 balloon on different character under same account? or is it only for 1 balloon per account?

If you'd read the thread again, I explained how to get the answer. But I'll answer you here.
To answer a clue, you have to find that specific "item"
Like say if todays clue was "A monster pig" you'd go to the monster page, [url=http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-monster-Mutant-Ribbon-Pig-910.html]Monster Pig.[/url] and look for a pig that looks like a monster and click on that monster.
If it's right, at the top of the page, you will get a message saying you found todays clue.
^ That is not any of the clues answer.
Note: Claiming a balloon twice on the same character is impossible. Well it IS possible, however you cannot move both of them in to your inventory, even if one is equipped that very moment.
I know where the questions are... but where do you go to answer them?
