maple story wont start from website and from gamelauncher to
i keep clicking but nothing hapen same with game launcher , am redownloaind it but it take too long
i redownloaded hackshield and blackcipher , and stil teh same problem

oh thas sound a good idea , i dont now why the patch worked fine for my old laptop -_- i dont use it anymore cause its very laggy
Same problem with me, Im trying to re-install the game, I think maybe the patch corrupted some file or something.
If you open your task manager, sometimes maplestory runs in the background and wont pop up. if its running at all in the task manager and you dont see it on your screen , end the task in the manager and try using the game launcher after that.. It cant launch what it says is already launched.

I don't think that's it since they have often told us to use it as a work around when the website doesn't work.
obviously it's a sign to quit if it doesn't work from BOTH sources

are you right clicking game launcher and running as administrator?
have you tried unplugging maplestory and plugging it back in?
are you sure your computer is turned on?
