Well then, something else to look forward to at a later point since I'm currently using the mystic set. Was going to try and potential them, but maybe I should hold off for the time being. Working on link skills for DA, Kanna, Hayoto, Luminous (though maybe I should switch that out for a DS) Cannon (mostly as a mule) and Xenon. Yeah, the multipliers are rather nice

@SolMaverick28: Correct, they do have the same multiplier and all @ 2 handed axe, later on after RED raging blow gets an axe animation too =P (or at least, enraged raging blow does)

the VPQ set, actually called the Alien Fragment set, is a 5 piece set from the level 200 PQ we got; you'd need to level alot to be able to do it, but the reward is amazing (the set is made up of: a hat, pendant, earring, ring, and belt) for equipping 3 pieces you get +10% hp and mp, and 50 weapon atk (which amounts to ALOT of range at level 200) and the 5 set effect (if you can get an empress shoulderpad you can use the alien helm =P and still get the 6 set empress effect) is 30% boss damage. Just a fair warning though the helm is EXTREMELY rare.

The most important upgrade you can make though is: if you haven't done them already, do all the best link skills like Kanna, Demon Slayer, Demon avenger, etc; by the time my dark knight's upgrades are finished i'll have a 100k or so range buffed with only 34% strength and around 500~600 weapon attack, and all the link skills (not counting T&C) to give you an idea of how simple this strategy is =P (in reality my range would be around 180k due to the invisible multiplier on my range from berserk, just like you heroes have all of those damage multipliers, so you don't need that high of a range to boss, even LESS after RED)

Good question. To be honest, it was actually before unleashed. My marksman was half naked but I spent 20b on equips. For example, I didn't have any potential rings and I didn't have any pendents. Also I did not use the empress set. 100k range = 999,999 damage on snipe so I stopped there half naked.

So my marksman was half naked, but the equips that he was wearing allowed him to hit max damage before the cap was raised.

Realistically, you could spend 10b to reach 100k range if you got a 6% pendent and 6% rings and used the empress set with a scrolled xbow and a few higher end equips.

By VPQ set I think he is referring to the lvl 180 alien visitor pq set aka alien fragment set (lv 200 entry requirement). The whole set, which is 5 pieces gives +20 all stats +1000 hp/mp when 2 items are equiped, +10%hp/mp +50 watt/matt when 3 items are equiped, and +30% boss when you have the whole set.

There's a terrible joke to be made here...

Thanks man! Quite helpful there. Question though, whats the VPQ set? Also, I am taking advantage of the Unleashed event, trying to stock up on the two handed att scrolls and what not I went with an empress 2h axe rather than sword, if only because it's cheaper. Stats end up being the same, don't they?

You'll actually be fine if you can get to a high enough level; I personally don't worry about funding my characters until they're around 150 but you can get a pretty high range by just getting enough link skills and using sets that have set effects (the VPQ set, Empress set, etc) if you can get to about a 40 or 50k range you'll be able to beat Mihile no problem alone (provided you can survive long enough and don't miss him) worst case scenario you get some high level friends to help you; even after unleashed the chief knight's are relatively weak.

I know, I have one. Like I said, I'll make chars for the link skills and when I get said link skill, I don't play them anymore.

demon avenger has a decent link skill as well

heck, all of them are useful

I appreciate the input everyone, unfortunately I'm not into most of the newer classes unless they have a decent link skill in which case I'll get em to about that level and forget about them. Guess I just won't be doing major bosses.

He used to have a chance to drop capes but watch out since he DRs. It's just him an Evo world Empress iirc.

First thing's first, you're too low leveled.

Secondly, you will need to either have good funds for your hero. (I mean good)
or just start making a different character such as a Xenon and make it OP easily. You can get almost a 100k range with simply clean empress on a Xenon. It took me 20b to get a 100k range on my marksman. Just make a Xenon, boss, make money, and fund your hero.

If you fight Mihile, he will drop Warrior empress equipment. (except for weapon and shoulder) Right now the bosses are not dropping any equipment so there's no point on killing them now. I suggest to level to atleast 185+ if you wish to kill one.
