Papulatus Question
Hey guys,
I'm just coming bakc after years of being away and I am trying to pap. For some reason the orb version of him is only being damaged for 1 at a time even with my phantom at 106k range. Is there a way for me to get the clock form to spawn?

With the keep % does that mean fail but not boom?
What would it say if it's a fail and boom?
From the above information given, you are guaranteed at least a small boost of range and defense. It will vary depending on your % potentials though.
I personally on this char gained from 60k buffed range to 90k buffed. Then with my new gear, I got to 200k buffed, 250k OP buffed.
I would say go for it if you have the mesos.
i think on the 13th star there's a 0.03% of destruction, but even then you get an Equipment trace which you can apply to the same item to regain the stats (ie. scroll stats, potential, soul) but not the stars. Also i recommend stop at the 10th star as the price really jumps from 10-11 stars, and at the 10th star you get a checkpoint where the star doesn't drop when you fail an echancement.

Only after a certain point, usually 5,7,10 or 12 stars I think, depending on the equip

Can I make items pop adding stars this way?
After your items have 0 slots remaining from scrolling, you can use the Star Force enhancement menu (via the Red Hammer at the bottom right of your inventory tab, or the blue side screen menu image w/ a sword on it) to place your item, and Star Force away. It's cheap at first, but after a few successes, the price starts to climb a bit.
P.S. Using the same menu, you can use Spell Traces in place of scrolls to scroll your equipment. You can buy them from the FM, or you can hunt for them and let em accumulate over time. There are other ways, too!

Super annoying...but at least I know now. How can I add stars to my equips with mesos?
Recently, the Star Force enhancement system has been implemented. Basically, you can use mesos instead of AEE/EE scrolls to apply stars to your equipment. Papulatus requires you to have at least 30 stars overall on your equipment (in total) in order to be able to deal your full amount of damage to him. If you didn't have any, that could explain the 1's. Hope that helped :o
Star force?
I'm 200 on my phantom, just messing around sicne I've been gone so long everythings different now
Didn't they gave him star force? All I know without it, you can't deal normal damage to mobs.
With 106k range, you might as well normal Zak twice a day and possibly horntail easy if you are 130+
