@nikeball123: I use Stews which give 40 w.att. I made 400 last halloween and i'm down to 22 now, so i'm glad that it's almost halloween again I can also provide you with a screenshot if you'd like me to.

I'm at 75k clean, I think close to 100k with echo, i still think it won't get you to 108k o.o

Probably the easiest order is legs, tail, wings, left arm, left head, mid head, right head, then finally right arm. The left and right arms are what seduces you, so why leave right arm for last? It's because if you stand to the left and attack while the left arm is dead, you won't get seduced by the right arm. Also, if you leave the right arm for last, you don't need to worry about getting 1/1ed or hit from ht's attacks when you do get sed. The only thing you would have to worry about is the falling rocks which only does like 1.5k or so. Just make sure you always attack from the left side, even during the heads. This will maximize your survivability and you won't have to waste as many wheels. I guess auto hp/mp would help if you lag or if you're slow at potting (though you only really need the hp and can just skip the mp). Otherwise just pot after every hit to keep your hp up for when you get sed

Thanks everyone for the input. So I guess if @Request was able to solo horntail with a range similar than mine, the only problem is surviving. Would buying 5 wheels as a safety and also having pet auto HP and MP help improve my chances? And from what I heard, I should kill the legs and tails first then arms? What's next? I have never gone horntail before in my life and would need some help. Thanks again.

@ts: The reason I said no is because of how fast you can die as an archer at ht.
One seduce is basically all it takes to die.

Get some more %boss.

With that range, it would take pretty long, but it is possible. I think the best way is to kill the tails, wings and right arm first (I'm not too sure). Get a mutant snail familiar to heal you when you get seduced.

Nope. Your range should be at the, very minimum, 40-45k with some decent %boss.

You can solo ht if you managed to survive. I would recommend maxing illusion step to dodge 30% of the attacks.

You cant, unless you get that range to 5xk.
Its how fast you can kill the taill/legs and arm before they basically 1 hit you.
