Both... for people say books are just books you are wrong . Books that give you knowledge is not just 'books' . I've been taught to respect and treasure it. It's kinda hard to explain but it's asian thing.
Your telling me.. I was talking about this to my friend and when I said books are important they looked at me all like 0_0 even when I was explaining to them a book can hold historical value or knowledge that could save millions of peoples lives etc etc etc..

Flags resemble specific countries, while religious books resemble growing generations, obviously the latter is worse.

There are currently over 2.2b Christian around, and about 1.7b Muslim.

So good luck getting away with that ?

I think most people would consider flag burning a lot more worse than Book burning.
but for me, book burning would be a lot more offensive.
If it was book burning of something like .. I dunno, some sort of religious book, then .. well. That would be really quite bad.

Well .. If it would mean the burning of a flag of a country vs the burning of a religious book, then the burning of the book would be much worse.

It depends.
If you are just burning any old book, then it doesn't even matter.
But if you are burning a book that is a religious icon like the Qur'an, then all hell may break loose.
