u can use a external program to change maple's resolution. I've done it before the only problem is it looks really wierd and doesn't scale right

Nope. Best you can do is hope Maple supports your monitor's FULLSCREEN resolution (some monitors it won't work) and run fullscreen mode, or you change your resolution via desktop personalization. You'll have to drop it to 1080, or maybe 1440p, in order to enjoy the game. I play on 1440p so I have had to get used to the small window size. I can totally see how awful it would be to play on 4k though, biggest reason I didn't go 4k was because of the lack of support in most apps like Maplestory.
