The requirements for MS and Skyrim is greatly different. You shouldn't have any trouble with MS on it; however, Skryim might run it on low settings albeit choppily. Need I to mentioned that you have an integrated graphic on that ultrabook. The Intel HD 4000 to be exact. If you want to have an enjoyable experience on any games on the level of Skyrim and is an ultrabook, I would suggest you at least get something like the two ultrabook I had suggested that has a dedicated graphic card. I personally preferred the Gigabyte, due to the dual fan cooling system that is cooling the GPU and CPU separately (rather than one fan cooling both on the same heatsink), has a 1600x900 screen, and a SSD. Of course, you have to pay quite a bit for it - $1100 or more.

If you don't exactly need an ultrabook, I would recommend getting a regular 14"-15.6" laptop with a dedicated GPU in the same price range.

@sorasealed: i had the hp envy like 1year-18months ago, i would plug in an external cool fan underneath the laptop to keep from over heating badly. It was very good for game play though, i do recommend it for gaming, music, editing and so on.

If you are looking to play Skyrim and looking to buy an ultrabook, I would suggest looking at the Acer TimelineU M5, Gigabyte U2442, or another ultrabook with an dedicated 640m or 650m.

How about the Lenovo y480 with an GT650m for $750? http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/builder.workflow:Enter?sb=:000001C9:00007177:#.UIgXlIZNqSo

I think you had made a few of these threads already.
