Why does Nexon keep feeling the need to mess with them?

NLs took alot of crap when Nexon gave Flash jump (close enough) to Dawn Warriors. Then they gave Shadow Partner to Shadowers (hooray, but most shadowers were happy with a weaker class, after all, they were dedicated enough to get them to 120 PRE-BB. Plus, they had Meso Xplosn) Oh and so did DBs.
Bowmasters got Flash jump, oh, sorry, "Double" Jump, which is more effective than flash jump..

Mage/Bishop Classes are no longer as useful for leeching (many disagreed with this concept, but it was good income for those classes), also their Megas were nerfed in that they take ages to use.

When Wildhunters came out they were basically a more mobile version of Bowmen and Marksmen. Mercedes is like a 10x better version, soon coming.

HB pants and whatnot have sadly made DKs less useful at Bossing, they were once so loved a class (correct me if I'm wrong). Dawn Warriors got rage (trolled). I can't say much about Paladins, they were always a crap class to play, (no offence, but tell me honestly, that you enjoy having no mobility and bad damage). Not that I don't respect people who make them, I have a friend who is making one.

Yeah, Nexon is ruining these classes seperate usefullness, and individuality. The FJ and SP of sins is now available to like 1/4 of classes. BMs have their hurricane passed around. HB is useless. Sigh, Mages got trolled.

I'm sure there are many people with a different opinion, but this is coming from a guy who played a Pre-Pirate Hermit, and loved being the only bouncy class around, and also one of the best Bossing attackers (Meso Xplosn and Hurricane have always been good bossing tools so I can't really say THE BEST). Yeah, I know this probably won't change anything, but I don't know how far this is going to go, why couldn't they leave flash-jump as NL/Hermit exclusive, if that sacred piece of Maplestory had been respected, I wouldn't have been quite as sad..

@iLickYouPls: Sigh, my point was never about damage. I don't care about that. SP and FJ was the skill I was looking at when I made my first sin, it had so much sentimental value, they were, to me, and MANY other people at the time, the most defining and important skill to sin jobs. I don't mind that other classes have better skills, its just that these sacred things were destroyed. Now Dawn Warriors, Bowmen, and Shadowers have FJ. DBs and Shadowers have SP. SP was one of the biggest differences between Shads and NLs for me. NLs had shadow partner, and when Shads used meso explosion, they had a similar effect, that was one of the first things I noticed in those classes, sigh.
Classes getting revamped and rebalanced is alright. But when you take a classes most defining skills and give them away..well..

@iLickYouPls: Derp, I kinda admit I don't know japanese, I just heard somewhere desu was supposed to be formal or something, got the impression that if you're insulting someone you don't bother with it.

NLs/Hermits were left that way for over 5 years, so go ask Nexon, I prefered the uniqueness. Other classes don't need to be mobile just like NLs, that's why there was haste, so people would invite sins etc so they would have a brief moment of high speed. Lol. Part of being an NL for so long was the mobility, if you were a real shad, by that I mean playing them from before they got super buffed, you would know that they had their own cool points. Giving Shads SP/FJ would be like giving us NLs Assaulter and Meso explosion. I'm just saying that for over half a decade FJ and SP was always what made us sins unique, and stand out, I didn't enjoy that fundamental part of us being spread around to everyone.

Like imagine you were harry potter with the lightning scar, and then some guy came along and gave lightning scars to everyone D=.

Also, mages and Bowmen were already mobile with tele/Thrust, shads had haste too, warriors were the only slow class, but they could always buy speed/jump equips.

Lulz wanna play a DrK?
my damage went down a lot after the patch (we lose 25 attk for 60 str QQ)
berserk adds speed and no longer a 4th attk in crusher
and Dark Impale is weak but the speed makes up for it
beholder's revenge heals 5% << LOL and has a 5 sec cooldown now

probably only thing good is Magic crash now xD

A DrK's HB is better than Decent HB, it's just that Decent skills are more convenient and cannot be dispelled.

Shadow Partner is still a Thief exclusive skill.

I'm absolutely fine with having my Bishop's Angel Ray buffed, spamming Ultimates isn't fun.

Paladin's take virtually no damage from high level monsters, Rush is a form of mobility, and damage is relative to funding.

Seems like you're just mad that NLs have been "stolen" from.

incredibly funded mercedes may have amazing damage but don't generalize you haven't played the class for yourself and seen the lowest HP out of any ranged class, terrible defense, low avoid class that every is over hyping cause a few people on KMS who have unlimited funding are breaking the boundaries.

also i don't know about you, but when i solo train my WH i dont sit there spamming WAB like i would with a bowmaster, i use other skills like dash and slash, swipe and hey even roar to train.

are you going to start raging about DS as well, they are 100x mroe bouncy then any class on GMS as of now. You would be hard pressed to find a DS who doesnt fly through maps, uses wing thrust and the occasional double jump to get through the map. Face it good movement skills were made to be shared among classes.

Also your remark about paladins show how as @softy kindly but it, you are stupid and don't know what you are talking about. They are the tanks of the game, can deal out massive damage and like [b]any[/b] other warrior has low mobility.

And to people saying adventurers would be boring otherwise, there are plenty of other classes, play them if you don't like the style.

Original adventurers needed to be messed with.
With all the new classes coming out, they were being overshadowed. The original adventurers getting messed with just brings them up to par with the rest of the classes in a hopefully more balanced way.

Anyways, isn't SP limited to thief classes? Assassins/NL, Bandits/Shadowers, and Dual Bladers? Correct me if I'm wrong.
All the other classes need some kinda of mobility as well a faux-FJ is just fine for that. Plus it sure beats buying a mount. ;P

That's why you have to pick a class you can enjoy gameplay wise, or else you'll just end up switching classes every patch due to your urge for power

Biased.

HB hasn't been useful ever since BB hit, most bosses have pitiful damage now.
Double jump is not more effective than FJ. ( I Find the fact that BM's can reach 170% speed to be a little messed up though).
Paladins... what? We're slow and weak? Rush + Mount, Blast + ACB. We're far from weak. We may not be the best, but come on now.
On top of our decent-damage we've got max Defense, we can block Status ailments, 1/1 doesn't effect us, and we can block attacks.

EDIT: Mages are just fine, Honestly; do you know how MIND-NUMBING spamming just an ultimate at skeles is?
I also had an NL pre-bb. Honestly, I quit that thing as soon as I realized I enjoyed my HB mule was more fun then it. (This was about a year before bb).
Just find a class you'll enjoy, and stick with.

XD i agree with u, but i think nexon should stop making OP classes which require nerfing or bumping of hte other classes, so they dont need to mess with ours >.>
