@femalejesus: It's not a good idea to recommend spending real money though. It may not be an option for all players. Of course working gets more money than methods in maple, I'm not denying that. But at that point maple becomes a job, not a game. To me that is not keeping maple real.

@femalejesus: The pessimism is strong with this one. They've all worked for me! OP will just have to try them himself and see what works. I'm simply recommending.

Thats the thing about merching though, you can't expect someone to tell you what to buy and what to sell, you have to figure out most of it by yourself.
There are a few good things to merch, but It's very hard nowadays. Your best bet is just to go out and hunt for items to sell yourself. They best way to do this is at the following areas:
- Gollux: Get coins from him to sell the items from the shop. Can be sold for 700-800mil each after you acquire some coinage. After you've sold all the items, you can get scrolls and sell scroll service for about 100mil a pop.
- Commerci Trades: SweetH2O items and cubic blades are the two main things you can get from this. SweetH20 weapons can range from 50mil to 1.5bil, and armour can easily get 1bil out of depending on the piece. They do rarely drop, so it will take some due diligence. Cubic blades are fairly common and sell for about 10mil a pop.
- Elite Mobs/Bosses: Just find a mob map at around your level and start killing! If you have a pet, this is a great way to get items to sell or even loot spell traces (can be sold ~50k each). When elite mobs spawn, kill them for a good chance to get epic gear and cubic blades. They also apparently drop hammers and various other helpful scrolls. After about 15 of those elite mobs (which are about 5-10 minutes apart), an elite boss will appear. Kill them to get the bonus stage. Items will either rain from the sky, rain from flying mobs, or you have to regular attack chests that run around. They all drop the same stuff. Be sure to keep lots of equip and use inventory space open, as they can fill up rather fast in the bonus stage. You can get rare scrolls, whole tradable cubes, and unique reverse/timeless gear as well. All of these can be sold for a pretty penny! From start to finish, it will take ~1.5hours of constant grinding, but the money is worth it.

These are just a handful of ways, but these have been the most successful routes for me. I've really been enjoying the addition of these new elite bosses and mobs!

Hope it helps and happy mapling!
Gollux might work. But, even then, with no funding, Gollux is a formidable enemy.

Commerci is ridiculously stupid. The effort you put into it is NOT worth the output. Working in a sweatshop at $4 an hour will yield more result than doing this PQ.

Not sure about Elite Bosses since I no longer play. However, the general rule is that everyone is going to be thinking the same thing you do. So good luck even finding a spawn. And if you do get something valuable, so did many other players which would depreciate value of your own loot.

The only way to win at money making(Meso wise) is to start investing some real money into the game. Buy nx/sell nx till you have a good enough range to solo almost any boss. After that you can make some profit and hopefully make back the real money you used on the game by selling boss drops. This would probably be the most effective and easiest way of making money. Besides taking advantage of events of course.

Let me put this into perspective for you:

200m=$2 USD

Funded people in this game have over 50b easy if you count their equips. Really funded people easily have equips worth more than 100b together.

50b=$500USD
100b+=$1000USD+

Dream big. Dream big, brother.

If you don't plan on spending $$ to merch, you are better off working in a sweatshop. You will make a lot more money which you can buy mesos with.

I don't know about specific items but I can say that if you're starting out you should familiarize yourself with the fm prices in your server which will take a few days as well as acquiring a shop. After you understand the prices of items you'll be able to recognize good buys as you're browsing the fm and then resell for profit.
