GG. This little 9/23 investigation or whatever you'd like to call it resulted in me (someone who was ALSO left on tradeblock for longer than anyone else, for no damn reason) being permanently banned. Great job, Nexon. Bye.

For those who were, or still are confused, I posted this thread for two reasons:
-Raise awareness (of the issue itself, and my ban)
-Give people a place to discuss/determine if others faced the same unjustified banning.
I am not here to complain, and those of you accusing me of that have proven how pointless and idiotic 'complaining,' or really anything is on this forum.

I wouldn't mind my meso or items deleted, so i'm going to try that.

If I couldn't tell whether your innocent or guilty, I would just take the thing in contention away and monitor the account for future ToS violations. Items bought that week would also be deleted. That's the toughest penalty I would have inflicted.

Most businesses have a policy where conflicting positions arent taken. If another GM reads your old chat log, they will not undermine the previous GMs decision. You can try though. GL.

I was banned in the last round of meso exploits because I had a shop up. I followed through and logged a ticket and they fixed it. They even let me keep the mesos from the stuff I'd sold. I'm just finding it funny that instead of doing that, he's going on basil to complain and make another anti-nexon circlejerk.

The GM referred him to a GM whose job it is to fix ban issues and instead of talking to that GM, he ignored it and tried to argue. We don't know what the other GM would do because this guy wouldn't even try LOL

I did, they told me I wont get my account back because I got a large amount of meso ( I sold an dagger on the 10th for 5b, this was a week before the exploit )

I hope Nexon knows that most of their tickets and complaints are in regards to their latest ban streak. "A ban appeal GM will have access to this information." Either Nexon should give all GMs responsible for live chats access to ban appeals or separate the live chat into multiple categories. Having live chat agents like these are completely useless and a waste of the company's time and money to host.

That isn't really saying anything.
On Sunday, September 15, we addressed a hack impacting the meso economy. In the process, numerous accounts that received fraudulent mesos were banned immediately to minimize the risk of negatively impacting the current economy. Many of the banned accounts have since been switched to trade blocks to allow gameplay while we investigate the accounts further. [b]Once our investigation is complete, we will remove the trade blocks and permanently ban any guilty accounts.[/b].

Go to the main maplestory site > support tab (at the top) > its a tiny little button under the first column of options (out of the 4 options there, "submit a ticket" being one of them). Just click it when it says online.
Edit: It's online from like 9-5 pst, I believe.

Definitely sorry to hear this. That submit a ticket statement they made seems to provide a sliver of hope as if they know they might have perma-ed innocents.
Thanks for the good wishes, people, but I'm not really that annoyed over getting banned, it's w/e. I never really did much in game anyway, just upgrading/merching/talking to kill time until the mercedes revamp/something interesting. We'll see what happens, but it doesn't matter too much either way.
