Any music recommendations?
Hello Basil, I am currently looking for new bands/artists to listen to.
Here are some of the bands/artists I like:
Generationals, Vampire Weekend, Slam Donahue, Jungle Giants, San Cisco, Arctic Monkeys, Team Genius, Coconut Records, Magic Man, Portugal. The Man, Kooks, Colourist, Kid Astray, Yellerkin, The Griswolds, Black Keys, Foster the People, Kids of 88, The 1975, STRFKR, Weezer, The Velvet Underground, Nirvana, Of Montreal, Bombay Bicycle Club, Sufjan Stevens, Beirut, Andrew McMahon/Jack's Mannequin, Matt and Kim, Phoenix, Kinks, etc
As you can see, I like a lot of bands/artists and I am willing to try other types of music as well so any input is appreciated.

You'd love 4:33 by John Cage.
You might even be listening to it right now.
@sparklesmore: Oh, phew. I thought I was gonna get chewed out. I didn't think you would be interested just based off the bands you listed. If you like more rock type music, you should try CNBlue, FT Island, Led Apple, Jaurim, or Nell. If you're into hip-hop, Epik High, BIGBANG, Jungigo, Mad Clown, Leesang, and Outsider are good picks. Some of them aren't that famous but they make good music.
I'm also going to recommend SNSD just because I'm biased like that.
Thank you to everyone who replied. I will check out some of the bands/artists mentioned.
Hello, I enjoy 3 Days Grace, heyhihello (although they're underground and have already broken up), All Time Low, and Green Day. These bands are pretty old though. I also randomly listen to music on the radio and if I like it, I check out the artist. Sorry I can't recommend many english bands/artist, I find that I am so behind in music.
Even though this genre is probably completely, and I mean completely, different from anything you've listed; I genuinely recommend kpop. Hear me out! There are good songs out there, don't generalize with mainstream music. There are a lot of genres within that category, not just pop.
I actually went through a HUGE kpop phase middle school. I still do listen to some kpop artists like Lim Kim and IU.
I think you'll like Jamiroquai if you like 90's Soul music
mainly virtual insanity because that was hands down fire

edit: @LimusocoBobo:
For some reason my Pandora doesn't want to open at the moment so I cannot list band/song names that I like and think you should listen to. Will edit this comment if it decides to open later tonight.
think you'll enjoy Bleachers, Fitz and the Tantrums, Walk The Moon, and New Politics.
