Free might be hoping for too much since you have to sok the book to trade it. Easiest way to get it for free would be to have your friend go on as many zak runs as possible with people that can kill relatively fast. If you can find people willing to zak during 2x, even better. The drop rate is horrible now, I know but they still drop so you guys could get lucky.

If he's [i]your[/i] friend, why don't [i]you[/i] get him one for free instead of asking others?

Hilla, Zakum, and Chaos Zakum. I don't know the drop rate for Hilla, but Regular Zakum has a really low drop rate for any book now
and Chaos Zakum's drop rate is still the same.
