Maple Story Fan Fiction

Hello all,

I wrote a short story for Maple. I'm planning to write a full story, but I'd like to see some support--aka, people willing to read my hard work. Is there a forum here or some other maple related site to post it? Thanks.

*Edit* On second thought, here is the teaser/short story:

A Maple Tale: The Last Stand

A fierce wind blew across the grassy meadow, blowing away the morning mist. The darkness of the night was lifting as the early dawn rose. A lone figure stood in the middle of the field--a slim figure surrounded by the carcasses of slain friends and conquered foes. The young girl fell to her knees...there was exhaustion in her face, but she didn't collapse because of it. There was one last foe that defeated her: grief and despair. She hung her head as tears flowed from her eyes. The tears she didn't shed when he left, the tears she held back as she watched his back charge into the darkness, the tears that choked her last words, "I love you". Those tears fell down her lovely face. She pushed back her long blonde hair as she tasted her bitter tears.

He was gone.

She held herself as she shook helplessly. Was it only a year ago that the Black Mage finally conquered Maple World? Yet, it seemed only yesterday that he protected her from the mob of scorpions in the Nihal Desert. It seemed only last night that he embraced her as they fled into the starry night, escaping the clutches of the Black Mage.
She closed her eyes. She saw his handsome face, she traced his sweet smile...wishing that she had the courage to trace his lips with hers. She held his face in her hands...then he disappeared. His laugh. His sleeping face. His smile. The one and only smile that brought happiness to her. It was all gone.

The young girl looked up into the dark grey sky. It was always dark now. Even the sun has lost its brightness. Her heart broke as she remembered the last thing she said to him... to be fair, he was being a real jerk about it. She remembered the angry words she threw at him for not taking her with him to assassinate the Black Mage. Only now did she realize why he didn't want her to come along with him. It wasn't because he thought she was too weak...health points had nothing to do with it at all. It was him. He wasn't strong enough to lose her and because he believed that she alone could end this war. He always believed in her even when she didn't believe in herself. Even when she ran away from her destiny, it was him who brought her back to her rightful throne. When her people needed her the most, it was him who gave the queen of the elves the strength to fight the forces of the Black Mage.

He was the one person that Mercedes could not live without. So how could she live now? What hope did she have left? Suddenly, Mercedes heard the clinking of armour. She brought up her dual bow guns, ready to fight--ready to die.
Then, he came from the darkness of death, standing gallantly. The early morning rays dimmed in comparison from the light that emanated from him. He was badly wounded. He fell to his knee and leaned on his sword as a fierce cold wind blew away his crimson cape. His armour was bloodied and scarred, but strength still radiated from him. This was a warrior who would not give in to defeat. This was a knight worthy of his title...and a knight worthy of the love of the queen of elves. His blue eyes saw the tears falling from her emerald eyes.

"Mikhail!" Mercedes cried out, desperation and joy mixed in her voice. Mikhail gave a weary smile. He was to the point of death, but the Soldier of Light managed these last words:

"Hey Elf, what are you crying for? Didn't you know? I don't let the people I love cry,"

I'll probably post it in a popular fanfiction site for those who'd like to read it.
