In case anyone is wondering, the price to rent out all 222 rooms is like $300,000 - $350,000.
Yea I can't believe others have met some of them, but I know almost every single one in my area and they all own some super car or super bike and they're always in the plazas near the college they attend and my high school. Some are just freaking great, they have amazing cars, they always say hello, and they're the most humble men. Honestly it's literally just their cars that are expensive, they dress in sweats, sit down drink their coffee at starbucks, and relax. Some have those cool wheel gliders but it's not like they just glide in your face and constantly show off. Maybe I connect with them because I'm middle eastern but yea. I've met some jerks too though, and they're just plain rude.
Most are either super humble or super arrogant. None are really in the middle
I haven't met any, so I hold no opinion in their regard.
The ones I've met are pretty chill.
Just like any other people.
I tend not to think about them.
A few CS graduate students, as well as in some other departments are Saudi internationals; they're extremely friendly from what my past experience will tell me in comparison to a lot of other nationalities I've worked with. Of course, that isn't to say that other people can't be "extremely friendly", but I can't really recall an anecdote in which an international student has been ill-behaved (though, there are some cases, as with any nationality).
That said, bobr raises a fair point. What exactly does a country's government (or monarchical equivalent) have to do with the entirety of its people's personalities?
What the top individual in a country (king, prime minister, president, dictator, whatever) does has exactly what to do with students from that country...?
Love them. Some of the most friendly and genuine people I've met. Most are rich but extremely humble.
