Shads are extremely amazing, and you don't NEED a ton of funding, unless you want big numbers. I would say do it, and if you end up liking it, you can always fund him later on.
Not much you can do with 100m but I don't see a problem with getting to lvl 120 with clean equips. My lazy friend who hates grinding did it, I am sure you can too
If you think your damage is too low to train decently, you can always do PQs (where damage doesn't matter)

Answer: Ignore any of the elitist idiots saying, for example: "make another class". Hell, ignore damage all together.
These people have failed beyond all belief by getting caught up in damage ranges. There is so little fun that can even be obtained from Maple Story this day in age, when all that matters to you is raising your damage for the sake of "being the strongest" you miss out on even that. Get the best equips you can with the money you have, and upgrade when you can. Compare yourself to yourself... And how much better you get, not to any of the tools youll see on here.
This is what I don't understand
Shads got nothing really except for SP and FJ
I wonder why no one noticed them pre BB?

they don't require any funding, but like any other class, in order to do above average damage of that said class, you would then be required funding. if below average or average damage is fine with you, then no funding is required.
Two words made into one, Don't.
Huh. Did Mr B finally fix question marks in threads?
They do. It takes a TON of funding to get to what is considered good.
But my 15k range back at 120ish took like 2~3b of funding.
However, if you put the time and work into them, they are the most fun class (In my opinion of course). Just merch for your equips/forge them yourself.

I mean damage doesn't matter much to me as long as I can train efficiently...
Proof: been with my dark knight with a 10k buffed range for years
Make another class.
