Cant Update MapleStory
I tried playing updating MapleStory today and the launcher told me my game was outdated and couldn't be updated to the latest version. I thought "fair enough" as I hadn't played updated the game to close to a year now so I uninstalled it completely, restarted my computer, then reinstalled it again but the message still popped up. I don't understand why this is happening; my game can't possibly still be outdated if I just downloaded the latest version from the website.
How do I fix this?

You probably downloaded it just by clicking play and letting the game do its thing - try uninstalling again and go directly to Game client & updates under the community tab and download it from there.
Also considering how long you haven't played in you might have trouble starting up e.g game crashes upon launch - make sure your graphic drivers have been updated too
