The hats available from the Chaos bosses have the [Joker] attribute, which allows them to substitute as a hat piece in another equipment set. Does anybody know what this means exactly? What I think it means is that you can have 2 hats at once? Not sure. Explain please. D:

That moment when no one realizes they don't DROP from the bosses @ Occult cubes, you get them from the boxes (which you unlock using Yggdrasil runes) which have a fairly common drop rate. I doubt they'll have much of an effect on nexon's sales. Especially since korea didn't have this problem when they got false miracle cubes from things like zakum or hornedtail.

If a couple thousand Maplers get 4 cubes a day (especially people with multiple accounts and hackers who obviously have multiple accounts) it can really add up. If I could get 4 cubes a day one on of my non-funded characters I would be pretty happy.

On that note "reset the Potentials on equipment (much like Miracle Cubes available from the Cash Shop) of Unique Tier or below." they can be used to make items unique. Although anyone will be able to do so. I am sure the drop rate will be very low. If zak/ht dont always drop zhelms/ht pendants there is no way these things are gonna drop cubes often.

I am quoting the wrong thing you said, but on another post you said that you will farm the heck out of the cubes. I found this pretty funny because you didnt seem to have the thought to read the whole update notes thread on the maple website. If you read carefully, it says you can only kill the bosses 1 time a day. But this is not limited to how many times you can enter. Either way, if you can only kill all of them bosses 1 time, that makes 4 kills a day there (-There's no daily entrance limit, but once the boss has been defeated, you cannot enter again on the same day.) Even if every boss dropped a cube it would only be limited to 4 a day, this would hardly make an impact over a couple of days/hours. Just like the saying, don't count your chickens before they hatch. Chances are that the drop rate on these cubes will be so low you will only obtain 1 cube every couple of days.

@Singaporean: I didn't really read anything past #2 tbh.

It will actually work in a different way than you think. A certain situation was presented in economics:

There are two guys, Bob and Bill. Bob is unemployed and Bill is a rich mofo who works everyday. The government taxes Bill, and gives Bob, who has no job, money. Bob goes out with this little money he has, but realizes he wants MORE. To do this, he has to get a JOB. This situation was presented in economics as one way to get more jobs.

In maple talk:
Bill is a rich funded no life AB that always buys cubes and crap. Bob is a poor and unfunded nib, but nexon decides to give him cubes. Bob gets cubes and manages to epic all his equipment, and for once, has a decent range. But decent is never enough isn't it?

This may or may not stimulate cube sales, but we'll see.

The cubes come out of the sealed boxes guys, so as it is you need to spend at LEAST two runes to have a chance at a cube. Even if they don't make the drop rate on them super low it'll be a pain to get them.
