@LeonZan Kenpachi wasn't denied Bankai. Yamamoto decided to give him formal swordsmanship lessons. However, after the first lesson, Yamamoto decided against continuing out of fear of Kenpachi's strength increasing to unmanageable levels should he ever decide to rebel against the Gotei 13.
@Valky Kenpachi is captain of Squad 11. And in Squad 11, Ikkaku Madarame is capable of Bankai. Who knows, other members may be, too. Assuming you're talking about nobody in Squad 13 having a revealed Bankai, I'm sure Ukitake is capable of Bankai. He's just never been in an actual fight yet. He fought Yamamoto alongside Kyoraku, but none of them really did anything. He fought Lilynette, but didn't take the fight seriously, and he sort of fought Wonderweiss, although he pretty much just got stabbed through the chest right away.
OT: I'm not sure who my favorite captain is, but I have it narrowed down to four. Those four are Kyoraku, Ukitake, Urahara, and Shinji. I'm not quite sure why I like any of them, though. Probably because there's no real information on any of them regarding what they're actually capable of. All we've seen from any of them is their Shikai. It's likely they all have Bankai, since most captains of the Gotei 13 pass the Proficiency Test to become a captain, which requires performing Bankai. Urahara's and Kyoraku's have been alluded to, and since Ukitake was one of the first captains, there would have been no other captains to kill, and there wouldn't have been enough for personal recommendation. Of course, it's possible that Ukitake was simply made a captain due to being personally trained by Yamamoto and was exempt from the normal requirements. Who knows, the current requirements may have not even been established at that point, but for whatever reason, I really think he can use Bankai.
my bad, been on and off when it comes to bleach, but yea, kenpachi and his squad = spartans
Soi Fon (I've seen at least four different spellings >_>, Kyoraku, Urahara and Ukitake. The last two three seem to be the only ones without some bitterness or uptightness (speaking of uptight... Soi Fon... ah well).
I can't bring myself to liking Mayuri.
Hitsugaya because his bankai is a friggin' flying ice dragon.
Kyoraku because he's laid back and he took out the number one espada using shikai.
Ichimaru because he's actually a really deep character.
Soifon is pretty bad@ss.
The female ninja
Hitsugaya or Gin
Kenpachi and squad 13 = spartans. we don't need no bankai to be special, we OP like Darius (BLOOD FOR NOXUS)
My favorites are Toshiro, Byakuya, and Kenpachi.
Hitsugaya but.... Kenpachi is just a boss <3. But you know who's better but is not a captain? Ulquiorra
@dendrology @wintermelon idk why, but I lol'd at both your comments
OT: What on earth is a bankai?
It's like... a power up for a sword I guess o.o
It's hard to explain unless you watch bleach.
Yes I totally mean bleach as in the detergent...
(Bleach is an anime you probably haven't watch it.)
Kenpachi. From when I started to where I quit, he has never used his bankai and has won with sheer strength.
either tide or downy
idk hard choice
