Wired Internet Problems
Ok so i have a pc which hasn't been connecting to the internet through wired connection, but my laptop and my ipod touch is connecting to my wi-fi network fine. I already tried using different wires and my computer has been working fine a few days ago. So do any of you maplers getting the same problem, or do you know how to fix this problem

On the router the wire from the computer plugs into there should be lights, usually marked "LAN" or "Ethernet", usually 4 of them numbered to match the sockets on the back of the router where the wire from the computer plugs in. Is the light for the socket your computer plugs into lit up..?
Also, look on the back of the computer near where the wire plugs in. Sometimes there will be a similar light that lights up (usually green) when it's connected correctly.
If the lights are on at both ends, it means the physical connection is working. If the lights are off, it means there's a problem either with the wire itself or the computer. (It's a lot less likely there would be a problem with the router, although that's a possibility too.)
