Coming back to Maple since 2011. Any important changes?
Hey guys, I decided to just come back to maple and see how it is since I have nothing else to do.. I'm downloading it now, but I wanna ask you guys what are the biggest things that changed...since I played lol. I can see some of the new classes, but I'm more interested in things like item changes, class revamps, and other stuff.

the more people are active, the more people will be searching for maple related things, which explains all the peaks during christmas
i agree that it isn't a perfect representation, although it gives a decent idea of how popular it is

3rd job at lv 60. 4th job at lv 100
Secondary stat no longer required for most equips
A ton of new classes
Hyper skills at 140+
Level 150 items that completely outclass empress
Empress Shoulder Accessory
Damage cap increased to 50 million
Level cap increased to 250
level 250 level cap. No good training spots from 1- 165

That just shows how many people have been searching for maplestory, it isn't really a perfect representation of the population.

Well there was the Tempest Update which got rid of the need for secondary stats...in other words, if you have points in a secondary stat, you're screwed.

There was a maintenance the day you left, and it ends today, you didn't miss much
70% of the population has quit since 2 years ago
There's a maintenance right now, if that says anything about how Nexon might've changed.

Yeah, I knew that quite a long time lol. made me sad that i need money to buy cubes to get better potential stats...if they even have those anymore

um thieves had revamp but still pretty week without funding
phantom angellic buster had pretty big nerfs
xenon is the most op class out there as of right now
oh and watch out for random gm events
also some bosses are freaking hard to kill or maybe impossible
