Very very fun. This has been the most enjoyable class I've ever played. From the storyline to the elf ears. I'm close to leveling my 2nd Mercedes to 200. I thought it would be boring to play a class again from 1-200 but I find that this is the only class I start to miss playing. Funding helps and it can be discouraging to continue forward with minimal funding... but at the end of the day I'd rather play an average Mercedes than a "godly" anything else.
yo kikiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii mercedes are fun u can jump around have fun strongest bowman and other chipzers etc etcz boiz
My Merc was extremely fun, especially when funded, but I got tired of its playstyle. I was too used to being the mobber since I played my MM prior and its average at most mobbing kind of killed it for me.
@Subtly: Ah. Right. You'll probably notice that a Mercedes will move ALOT more quickly around a map. It sure will allow you a transition out of thief classes but I'm not sure if you can break into the warrior class lol....I guess if you could Move from Mercedes ->BM/MM then maybe...
We aren't really an OP class like others when they were released (which can be noted from the little nerfing or adjustsments we get from revamps), that's probably why a little funding is probably what gives you some spice when playing a Mercedes.
What's most noticeable is that more than half of the skills we use in training involve movement and they're able to be joined together. I should also note that there is no one way of playing a Mercedes. You do not sit there and spam one mobbing skill in training (except bossing when I.Ring is the obvious skill to use).
and I should probably also point out my most favourite skill in MapleStory is 'Updraft'. Beginner Mercedes skill that makes ladders and ropes exciting and most importantly the class itself.
after playing my NL and my DB i've gotten used to how quick they move around the map, would you say Mercedes is a viable segway into non-thief classes?
