@emvu Yeah I've had all those problems before. If I had to guess at what's causing it, it would be that the computer runs out of system resources/memory. I think nexon recently changed the system requirements for maplestory too.

doesn't seem client sided... just stay away from cutscenes in general. Maple's terrible with moving chars around :[

im having the same problem as everyone else. i freeze at cutscenes, i cant talk unless i spam lots of messages which fixes it, i cant mine veins or herbs, DS gliding doesnt stop unless i touch the ground

i turn off my laptop every night, which doesn't fix anything. its been like this for about 2 weeks now and im not sure why

@SugarCoatedSour: i don't know. it's not you or your client. but just to be sure, goto speedtest.net to test your internet's speed and pingtest.net to test your latency. take each result with a grain of salt but if your download speed is less than 2 megabits per second or if your ping is higher than 50, or if you live really far away from california, that might be the source of many of your problems. but hopefully it's just nexon's screwup; that means when they do fix it, they'll make it better.

Restart your computer. Everytime this has happened to me, a reset always fixed it.

I've told this many times to people who have had these problems, but they never replied back if it worked or not. If you do restart and everything's working, please tell me.

Nexon has this love hate relationship with cutscenes. Like every quest has a cutscene now, and I don't know a single cutscene to NOT have a sort of bug where players get locked in their map and can't get out. From what I understand, it seems Maple moves you to a separate private map instead of just changing your screen.

Anyway, send them a ticket. They should get back to you within the week. Just make sure you supply all the necessary information on their website, tell them everything they ask - as unnecessary as it may seem - and they should pop you out of there soon.
