Not just Brazilians, usually South Americans in general (from a LoL and DotA standpoint, however)
1. Brazilians make up a large population of cheaters. 2. They tend to be terrible at the games they play. 3. They insist on playing on regions where English is the primary language instead of their own region and expect people to understand Portuguese. 4. They tend to be extremely bad mannered and prone to raging/insulting other players. 5. They put no effort towards teamwork and communication (yes, there are still ways to communicate even if there is a language barrier, you just have to try)
Brazilians are probably the most infamous/hated in RTS games like LoL and DotA, due to reasons 2-5, especially 2 and 4.
There's a huge list of reasons, but my personal #1 is that Brazilians swarm f2p games like cockroaches without contributing to the game itself.
I mean, it's one thing to play a game without paying, but it's another to play a multi-player game not intended for your language and region. It's bad for the team and it's bad for the game. Of course it's not to say that paying for f2p games is necessary, but at least don't be toxic via huespeak.
different culture from the Asian-American/White-American mainstream, and communication barriers it's not rlly that they're brazilian, but anything that clashes with Westernized cultural ideas will be disliked
I came across so many Brazilians in Gran Turismo 5 , And they don't know how to drive for shiiiiiiiet.. they're always crashing into people. Explains why there's so many car accidents in Brazil.
lol I was just playing Infestation Survivor Stories and they were calling them all hackers. So to answer your question.... they are usually called hated because a lot of them hack.

A lot of them are disrespectful, obnoxious, and like to insult you in their language.
Of course this isn't all of them, but they get a bad reputation.
