You or your buddy is not telling the truth. Not sure which one it is.

@MegaScience, I don't like the idea of a rollback either but this time the 6 hour frame was merely after reset and we get that reset lag for a reason.

I think the big influx of gach items such as Mag souls/nebs/LGRs don't seem that big of an impact to the economy but for those people who did upwards of $100 and got multiple of them, incidents like this will be taken advantage of again. If you look through the multiple threads. "Oh nothings going to happen not even RB, I can benefit off this. Let's do this!"-mentality will happen again.

I will admit I bought 3 packs for the lulz though. I got some things I wanted but don't mind losing them for the better cause
@traitor: I stand by the thought Nexon dropped their rollback functionality, likely in part to 1: Length of time to commit. 2: Managing entire backups/save states of the required data. 3: Assuring future content is supported, and expanding/adjusting storage networks as needed. I've seen several situations where rollbacks made sense, but Nexon avoided even mentioning them, and took other actions instead. Again, just my thought. I'm imagining 1-3 people working on talking to the development team, trying to figure out what new content needs to be marked up to storage, missed areas they'd get in trouble for, and Nexon going "You know what? We can manage situations other ways, with a lot less trouble on the players and our end." and then we get stuff like this.
they still do rollbacks, but they have a better team handling their servers so they don't have to resort to such measures because they have better ways of solving issues

If this is true and he can use them then good job Nexon.
You went to a new low.
Also didn't they say they were removing the remaining gacha tickets in the upcoming maint?

Yay Nexon strikes again making the situation worse... I still think they should've just RB the server 6 hours

Can you provide any proof? Because that's a theory some people threw up in the air earlier, and that statement without any details could be seen as attempting to stir the pot.
