the Syria thing to me seems like more of the same middle eastern crap that will probably never end, next thing you know, before the Iraq war is done with, we will be at war in 3 countries in the middle east, or is the Afghanistan war still going on (which would make Syria country number 3 of war in the middle east)?
My Grandad's (WW2 Veteran) words on ww3: "Let it be". He didn't say anything else. Probably has a deeper understanding about what's going on better than anybody else I know. I'm not sure what he meant by this.

But i still wonder when a country will raid us. Like put ground troops on American soil. Besides the Revolutionary war. I just don't remember a time when that happened.
