No it's not. It's not even in the top 10 within it's genre.
You seem cool diego, and your shout for " Memories" , such a great movie , all 3 are quality

ANIMATRIX! The guy who made the " World record" made samurai champloo, redline,Vampire hunter D

Honestly if anyone hasn't checked out the animatrix, do it! same with Memories

Ok diego, Code Guess vs other mech anime, or if you think its a different genre , where does it belong ?

My View: Watched Code Guess year's ago , thought it was very good, before coming onto the basil forums I couldn't remember a single thing about it , but I know it's on of the best mech anime's , in comparison to Gundam.
Watched gundam year's ago, probably every episode looking back and re-watching now, seem's a little slow and lot's of shouting , but not as much action as I remember in comparison to Gurran Lageen.

You seem to have watched a lot of weird anime's , whats your top mech anime's if code guess is not one of them?

I don't get what you're trying to convey. I'm guessing you're surprised I put Naruto in my top 15?

Only one mention of Madoka, by me
I'll be the second

My top five (in order, +/- 0.5)
1) Code Geass 10/10
2) Madoka Magica 10/10
3) Usagi Drop 10/10
4) Steins;Gate 9.5/10
5) Gintama 9.5/10

Honorable Mentions (top 15, not in order, all in the range of 8~9/10):
FMA: Brotherhood
Fate/Zero
Cowboy Bebop
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Clannad (After Story only, 1st season was just all right)
Naruto (the original series, not Shippuden-crap)
Monogatari series
Hajime no Ippo
Aria the 'xxxxx' series
Nana

Five anime that I consider grossly overrated (besides the big three):
SAO 6/10
Suzumiya Haruhi series (including the movie) 5.5/10
K-ON series 5/10
Angel Beats! 6/10
SnK 7/10 (still a good anime, but not 'the best anime ever' as many like to claim).

*My average is a 5/10.

I used to only have 3 anime I could name off the top of my head I liked a lot, but recent anime is pretty darn good and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

1.) Puella Magi Madoka Magica - I'll never let anyone tell me it's bad or whatever. It's mostly personal taste in the style of the anime, the composition of the score, and, you know, the vast amounts of NanoFate-level shiptease.
2.) Senki Zesshou Symphogear - ALL the singing. The only reason I watched Kamen Rider Kiva was for the singing in the insert songs. Now replace Koji Seto with a lot of all-star qt female seiyuu, change the composer to Elements Garden, and just have a generally better story/production. Oh god so good.
3.) Shigofumi - A hidden gem of the late 2000s. Got overshadowed by things like Gurren Lagann and whatever else was airing at the time, so it fell just below the Manabi Line, I think. Despite its relatively small budget and low "excitement" factor, it was really, really good. Story, feels, premise, characters, music, all of it. WARNING: Has been described as a love-it-or-hate-it anime.
4.) El Cazador de la Bruja - The epitome of "smash a bunch of crap together and hope it turns out well" in anime, and it turned out really freakin' well. There's a lot of unexplained crap thrown in there for the cool factor and it works out and there're about five layers of fake symbolism hiding the real symbolism and it's REALLY REALLY CUTE and throws references EVERYWHERE and and and the charm of it all is wonderful.
5.) Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight - Jesus god all the feels I got from this anime and it's a generic (premise-wise) slice of life with slightly disturbing character designs how did it affect me so deeply?

[no order]
Detective Conan [the amount of episodes]
Toriko [food / cooking and best of all Yun the penguin <3]
Rockman [Childhood classic + wonderful never released music]
Gintama [Jokes/ comedy /parody and mocking of other anime/manga]
Aquarion. [Music and mechas trembling ontop of a love story]

Aside from Aquarion, any anime i can watch over an over without getting too sick of the plot/stories/music is number 1 on my list.

Kara no kyoukai is an episodic movie series, it is like the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya. In that it was released in a non-chronological order, but can be watched in chronological order.

OT:
D.Gray-Man
Another
Shiki
Ga Rei: Zero
Saki
Yea it's not in chronological order but I heard the 5th movie in particular was quite amazing, I'm worried that i could possibly miss stuff from the previous movies though
Fate/Zero
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (It's a movie but it's the only anime that deserves a 10/10)
Steins;Gate
Baccano
Kara no Kyoukai 7 (Another movie, but it's just simply amazing)

Edit: Oh, almost forgot, Evangelion.
For Kara no Kyoukai:
Do I need to watch the previous 6 to understand 7?
On another note, do I need to watch the previous 4 to understand 5?

Reason being, I've watched the previosu 4 movies half a year ago and I'm afraid that I forgot nearly everything so should I rewatch or continue from 4?
Er, no.

I can think of at least 10 animes that are 10/10 worthy, let alone better.
Care to name a few? I wanna see this 10/10 worthy list.
Might consider watching a few from this list depending on whether I've completed it or not.
Not a whole lot of animes worth watching this fall. Monogatari is probably the only one that meets the basic demands.
