@spidy78:

My point is that this isn't something women do so casually. If it were Mako and Korra who acted out this entire scene, then people would probably assume that they were heading towards a romantic relationship. Which leads to me directing the question back at you: "Is holding hands enough for you to call someone straight?"

But hey, why argue about this? The creators confirmed it.

If you can only understand things that are blatantly spelled out for you, then you should be in a special hospital.
Don't be silly guys, there's nothing romantic about the ending scene. I always go off with my closest female friend without saying a thing the entire time, hold her hand and look longingly in her eyes for an extended period of time. That's totally how female friendships work and it definitely doesn't make us both extremely uncomfortable.
I saw the picture after watching the finale and wondered if I missed something. I had to go back and rewatch that part...

The sarcasm is strong in this one.

Wouldn't it be more of a bisexual ending instead?

It was so obvious that ending gave off the super lesbo vibes.

I guess that's true.
Really? Because I think it's just pandering to the community.

Just like Gone Home.
Even though it wasn't actually in the series I'm glad someone from the actual staff confirmed that they were romantically involved for us. It's a small step but I'm happy for the lgbtq+ community
