I still don't know WHAT to major in

So...I'm currently a sophomore in HS...and next year's my junior...sadly I haven't picked out my major and I'm starting to worry that it'll affect my future plans. I SERIOUSLY can't think of what I want to do...kind of stressing me out considering that my friends know what they want do to in their life...

Honestly, it doesn't matter what you do in high school. If you're picking classes that relate to what you want to do, good for you; chances are, you will have to take a similar class in college for prereqs and to refresh your mind on it.
I took a lot of business/multimedia as my electives in high school. Now I'm studying to be a computer engineer.

Go by what you're good at?
go to the library.
wander the nonfiction section
read books that look interesting.
if you are particularly intrigued by a subject maybe pick up some more books on the subject and then just you know see if it's what you want to do
Not really much of a reader nowadays and I usually pick books by the cover(which is horrible).
Stop stressing about something that isn't even important yet. You're only going into grade 11, you still have almost 2 years before you have to make a decision on a college and program. Nobody is gonna choose something for you with that kind of information, it will come to you eventually. Usually during 11th grade because the classes get a bit more specific and you get a better idea of what you want. Just let time go by and eventually you will find yourself interested in something.
I honestly don't think my future classes will be helping me pick a major because I'm taking AP Lang, AP US History, AP Bio, an d AP Psychology; they're probably going to be irrelevant for me.
@Reaper22 yeah, I know its useless D:

I honestly don't have much interests; I'm a blank slate.
When I was young I used to write stories for fun...I sued to draw, but my drawing is probably outdated by a couple of years, I like doing things that challenge myself. I don't have a favorite subject, it mostly depends on my classmates and the teacher themselves.
I like going out and playing sports.

You have a lot of time to decide. What are your current interests? What's your favorite subject? What do you like to do?

liberal artsssssss if you don't know what to pick. just don't waste your time during junior year screwing up your grades , eventually the right school will come to you with the amount of effort you put in looking what's right for you. Don't let it stress you out completely. Sometimes people need to take an extra year off to figure it out...O_O
That's perfectly fine. I can tell you a large number of people do end up switching majors. It's no big deal.
But I don't understand how people can direct themselves to having just a major. How do these majors, like, appear interesting?

I'm scared that if I try to settle down with one major, it'll become too uninteresting for me and I'll be switching from major to major.

@taeo: Take your time when deciding, and try multiple things before you make that decision. You may find something you'd never think you'd like.

Yeah..but there are many majors out there...its hard to figure which is correct for myself...

@taeo: Don't worry about it. You've still got plenty of time to choose. ^^

Yeah, but isn't it important to know what you're interested before going to college?
Because it'll also affect which collage I'm attending..

I came to college 100% sure I was going to stay pre-vet. After 7+ changes later, I'm getting a PhD in Clinical School Psychology. Take the basic classes (chem, bio, physics, calc, english) then decide. I took orgo and that was the end of my pre-vet/med aspirations.

Don't worry. People in college change their majors all the time. I'm a junior this year, going to be a senior next fall, and I have no idea of what to do, either.
