BaM Update First Impressions?

So guys, it's finally come. Here's a couple of my opinions:

+ Battle Burst is already a welcome addition. Really like the mobility it adds to training/mobbing
+ Confirmed HB stacks with Conversion now, got mid 50k hp with Decent HB
+ Toggle on Reaper is useful, however situational it may be
+ Vertical distance buff on tele makes quite the difference. It's still no Lumi, but now able to reach notable tele's like HoH from lower to upper plat and Gollux legs w/o climbing.

- Grand Light Aura removes all party effects of the auras, so I guess it's mainly suited for when you're the main attacker or riding solo. The increase in range is pretty tho. Kinda disappointed after reading rumors that this thing would be a party buff.
- Still not entirely sold on Dark Gen being viable. Tried using it on a couple bosses, DPS increase seemed minimal.

Overall, quite positive about the revamp. Imo, BaMs are a relatively balanced class and easily one of the higher tiered ones in the game. I'm curious as to what KMS has in store for them next without making them a too strong. The only thing I feel the class needs, being a melee class in essence, is a bit of status resistance, but I digress.

What do you guys think about the revamp?

I am loving the new vertical range on teleport. Makes it so much easier to traverse different platforms of the fm.

If you think Battle Mages are bad compared to other mages, then you need to get some MRI to check for tumors.

i was never a fan of conversion, whats the point of having more hp if you recover the same amount per hit now it takes ages to fill my hp bar this isnt good when doing bosses that takes your hp by % and there is a potion cooldown

Needing Body Boost for Grand Light makes it logical that Auras aren't meant to be shared while Grand Light is on.

I really like the animation for the final attack BaM has when Genesis is on cooldown. It doesn't seem to do damage to justify casting Genesis, though.

Does anyone know of any guides that fully explain the BaM revamp, or can someone here tell me in detail about this revamp? Being an EMS player, there's a while to go before I experience this, and I'd like as much info on it as possible. Sadly the Internet isn't being very helpful to me right now.

Hopefully it's meant to pass on buffs then. Either that or the other BaM was using just BB, Auras. Tried with a couple party variations today and each time I used BCA, my party members' ranges dropped.

I'm loving the increase in our damage with BCA, and battle spurt helps our mobility in bosses. Hopefully all those cannoneer bandwagonners don't figure out we're incredibly OP now and start making BaMs...

The one problem I have with BCA now is that you have to cast it right after BB, and you can't macro them so it takes up space. You also can't BB while BCA is active so recasting it can be inconvenient. The worst part is if you die with BCA on, you can't recast your auras and your aura effects get canceled.

Dark genesis addition is a trap, and I can't think of a single situation where it would help you deal more damage.

I'm glad about the Conversion and Dark Reaper changes now we have less buffs to apply. The Dark Gen thing is nice, but it's like Final Attack with a 2-3sec delay on using its skill. I like the Big Light Aura, but I hate that it takes away the auras, thats my second favorite part of a BaM.

i'm so happy to see my reapers crowding the maps but i'm kinda mad we dont share our auras anymore i hope its a bug it cant be like this
