X is NEVER without a vowel before it, unless it is at the beginning of a word, in which case, it makes the "Z" sound instead of the "K" sound followed by the "S" sound. like Xylophone, or... or... er... well, I can't think of a third word that starts with "X"... oh wait! Xerxes! yes, that conqueror from the time of the ancient greeks, more specifically, the opposing army that was the enemy of the greeks in the setting of 300, which was based on an actual moment of myth/history (not sure which, or maybe even a blend of the two)

Kaiser is not a person, it's a title--the German equivalent to Caesar (Roman) and Czar (Russian).
